Oakbourne Farm turns out the boarding and training horses daily .. There is extreme care given to the horse's needs as well as maintaining the pasture and the environment around the farm. We are surrounded by a lovely creek (Goose Creek), we have a pond and some beautiful springs that have natural aquatic plants and frogs and turtles. We care about these plants and creatures as well as our horses so we use natural compost to fertilize our fields,and we rest our pastures as needed. In just a 10 minute walk around the farm, you may encounter some of the local residents....... Red Fox, Blue Heron, White Tail Deer, King Fisher, Red Tail Hawk, variety of Ducks and Birds.
